One of our resolutions at the Epps Realty office is to eat-in more and we kicked off that goal today by serving up homemade quiche made by yours truly! This ham and cheese quiche is super easy to make and can be easily doubled to feed a larger group.
Here’s what you need:
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 c milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
2 c diced ham
1 c shredded pepper jack cheese
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
1 deep dish frozen pie crust
Here’s how you make it:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
- Stir in ham and both cheeses.
- Pour pie filling into crust, set on a baking sheet and place in oven for 50-60 minutes or until set.
- Serve warm.
The great thing about quiche recipes is that they are so versatile. You can substitute different cheeses, different meat or meatless, add veggies…the variations are endless!
Let me know if you try this recipe.
